The revolution in water movement

The TUNZE Wave box 6212 is a Wave Generator for Aquariums of 52 to 317 gallons. It is especially suitable for Reef Aquariums as it generates oscillating current. The current corresponds exactly to the wave structure and water movement in reef top zones. The Wave Box applies this oscillating principle through Wave Controller 6091,which uses the intrinsic resonance of the aquarium. A very low power consumption generates ideal water movement. The water is in movement in all areas of the Aquarium , even the smallest section behind decoration benefits from the wash.

The wave height can be adjusted electronically.

For larger aquariums an additional Wave box extension ( part # 6212.50 without a controller ) can be connected to the same controller .The controller has 3 jumpers ,one - so the units can work at opposite ends of the aquarium and work alternately ,one so the 2 Wave boxes can work at the same end and work together and the third so the units can work with a Multi-controller.

Wavebox Extension

For Aquariums with volumes of over 300 gallons. A Wavebox Extension 6212.50 should be added to the existing Wavebox. The Wavebox Extension contains the Wavebox 6212, however without Wavecontroller 6091. The combination of a Wavebox and a Wavebox Extension is suitable for aquariums up to approximately 634 gallons. Each additional extension (three maximum) increases the volume recommended by about 317 gallons. The Waveboxes can be placed next to each other or opposite each other. A Wavebox Extension can be connected without any other accessories. A Y adapter 7092.34 is required only when more then one Wavebox extension is used.

Water level regulation

with static sensor

The precise water level is ensured by a non-wearing optical sensor and a transistor switch without any moving parts. This sensor is insensitive to soiling, light or magnetic fields.
Its “automatic eye” recognizes the water level precisely, even small waves or level variations will not provide false readings.

An independent safety sensor with a separate power supply circuit and relay control ensures reliable overflow protection.

An electronic time controller and current limiter for the pump connected result in a higher operational safety. This unit protects the metering pump against running dry and reports an empty storage container.

All functions are clearly displayed by LEDs; safety messages are also indicated by acoustic signals.

The osmotic regulators are all operated at safety extra-low voltage.
