****The size Aquarium noted for the
above chillers is an approximation. Some additional factors to consider when
sizing a chiller for your tank are listed below. This is not a complete list
since each individual set up has its own unique qualities and variations. Some
are listed below.
Additional water volume in your sump and or refugium.
The intensity of your lighting.
The ambient room temperature . Is the room air conditioned and is there direct
sunlight on your aquarium . Ventilation ,etc.
Heat transference from water pumps used.
If the rating is marginal, order the next larger size chiller. This will
allow better cooling and meet your needs. Plan some excess in event you later decide
to upgrade your lighting, etc.
